As Rupaul says “Guess who back in the house”. So after a 5 year hiatus I’m back! A lot has happened in this time, I went to College and University, finally left McDonald’s and got engaged. Shocker I know and who’d have thought this would have all happened in just 5 years.  With making the decision to step away from…

🖊️ Day 8 – Sketch Challenge #2 🖊️

We’re back with another Sketch Challenge!
This layout is perfect for playing with layers, textures, and bold focal points. Whether you stick close to the sketch or flip it on its head, use it as your creative springboard.

You could:
❄️ Feature snowflakes, ornaments, or florals in the circular focal area
🎨 Mix patterned papers for contrast and depth
💌 Add stitching, vellum, or embossed layers to bring extra texture
🎁 Try rotating the sketch for a completely fresh perspective

And because sketches are kind of my thing… I’ll be giving away a free copy of The Sketch Mayhem to one participant who joins in today’s challenge!

Post your Sketch Challenge #2 cards below for your chance to win — and to keep the inspiration flowing for everyone else!

Day 7 | Holiday Hustle 🎅✨

Channeling Santa’s workshop energy today with this cheerful card made using the Full of Wonder Collection from @rosiestudios. I love the mix of plaid, pinks, and festive details — it feels like a snapshot straight from the North Pole mailroom!

This prompt is all about embracing that creative chaos — the ribbons, sparkle, and joyful mess that comes with holiday making.

How are you capturing the Holiday Hustle in your projects?

🎅 Day 7 – Holiday Hustle 🎅 It’s time to 🎅 Day 7 – Holiday Hustle 🎅

It’s time to channel the energy of Santa’s workshop!
Today’s challenge is all about the festive rush — think busy elves, wrapped gifts, sparkling tools, and that sense of joyful chaos that makes the season so magical.

You might:
🧵 Create a crafty, layered design that feels full of movement
🎁 Feature gift tags, ribbons, or wrapping paper-inspired patterns
🛷 Add playful scenes of elves, reindeer, or Santa mid-prep
✨ Or go abstract — bright colours, dynamic shapes, and plenty of texture

Show us your take on the Holiday Hustle! Post your card in the comments below and let’s see what you’re “making in the workshop” today.

Day 6 – Winter Whiskers 🐾 Today’s prompt fo Day 6 – Winter Whiskers 🐾
Today’s prompt for the 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge is all about adding festive flair with your favourite furry friends — but I couldn’t resist taking it in a slightly different direction.

Inspired by the brilliant @ameliascreative, I’ve leaned into the nutcracker’s own whiskers for this one! His moustache steals the show, bringing a fun twist to the theme while keeping that classic Christmas charm.

Layers of pattern, a bold sentiment, and a touch of twine tie it all together for a truly Jolly Christmas moment.

Time to add some festive flair with your favourite furry friends!
Today’s prompt celebrates all the adorable pets, woodland creatures, and winter critters that make our hearts melt this season.

You could:
🐱 Give your cat or dog a Santa hat or festive bow
🐰 Create a snowy woodland scene filled with animals
🦌 Add a touch of humour with cheeky reindeer or mischievous mice
🎨 Or go elegant with soft neutrals and subtle textures to let the “whiskers” shine

However you interpret it, bring those paws, tails, and wintery vibes to life!
