Meet Martin

Hey there, I’m Martin! I live in Redditch, Worcestershire with my partner Sean and our mischievous Boston Terrier, Winnifred (Winnie for short).

Papercraft has been a huge part of my life since Christmas 2005, when I was gifted a DIY card making kit at the age of 12. It was love at first cut-and-stick! Growing up with Brittle Asthma meant I spent a lot of time at home or in hospital. Crafting became more than just a creative outlet—it became a lifeline, a way to stay busy, hopeful, and sane during tough times.

Like many, I discovered Stampin’ Up! through YouTube, watching American demonstrators share their infectious enthusiasm and stunning projects. I knew immediately that I wanted to be part of that world. Although I had to wait until I turned 18 to officially join, I remained a loyal customer for two years before signing up—and that’s when the crafty mayhem truly began!

While my journey with Stampin’ Up! brought me countless friendships and creative opportunities, it also gave me the confidence to return to education and pursue Fine Art, a decision that completely changed my path.

Fast forward to today—after many wonderful years with Stampin’ Up!, I took the leap in 2024 to explore the wider world of papercraft. I’m now proud to work as a TV craft demonstrator, sharing my passion with even more people and showcasing exciting products from across the industry. Whether it’s designing, teaching, or inspiring others through social media and live demonstrations, I feel so lucky to do what I love every single day.

I’m always open to new collaborations, creative opportunities, and industry partnerships—so if you’re looking for someone who lives and breathes paper, sparkle, and a little bit of mayhem, let’s chat!

Thanks for stopping by—now let’s get crafting!

You don’t need a complicated design to create some You don’t need a complicated design to create something beautiful.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do…
is go back to basics.

In this session, I start exactly here —
simple shapes.
Clean structure.
No overthinking.

Because when you strip a layout back to circles, rectangles and banners, something shifts. It stops feeling overwhelming. It starts feeling possible.

That’s the foundation of Stretch Your Sketches — learning how one simple framework can unlock endless card designs.

If you’ve ever stared at a blank card base wondering where to start… this is your starting point.

This card was created using the Ornamental Poppies Layering Die Set from @altenewllc and honestly, it’s one of those sets that makes you feel like an absolute pro just by layering cardstock.

The dimension.
The movement.
The drama.

If you love bold florals that fill an entire card front with ease, this set is a must.

✨ Organising my Stellar Sequins… because they dese ✨ Organising my Stellar Sequins… because they deserve it ✨

I genuinely think these are some of the prettiest embellishments in my stash. The colour blends, the shimmer, the mix of sizes — they just catch the light perfectly on a card.

Every mix gives you multiple sizes, which means instant depth and dimension without even trying. A few scattered sequins and suddenly your card feels finished.

I’ve separated mine by size in stackable containers so I can grab exactly what I need (and avoid rummaging through packets mid-craft 😅), but honestly… they’re beautiful however you store them.

If you haven’t tried the Stellar Sequins yet, they’re one of those small additions that make a big difference.

Which colour mix are you obsessed with right now? ✨

Happy Valentine’s Day, crafty friends ❤️🍒 This on Happy Valentine’s Day, crafty friends ❤️🍒

This one’s for you.

Thank you for the likes, the comments, the shares, the link clicks, the encouragement, the messages… all of it. This community genuinely means the world to me and I don’t say that lightly.

I created this bold cherry Valentine using the This is Big Sentiments: Love Stamp Set from @papertreyink — and that oversized “Love” felt pretty appropriate today 🥰

The playful cherry background was created using stencils from @mydiamondpress — just enough fun to keep it sweet without stealing the spotlight from that big statement sentiment.

If you’d like to see how it came together, the full tutorial and supply list are live on the blog (link in bio 🍒).

Sending you all the crafty love today ❤️
