Meet Martin

Hey there, I’m Martin! I live in Redditch, Worcestershire with my partner Sean and our mischievous Boston Terrier, Winnifred (Winnie for short).

Papercraft has been a huge part of my life since Christmas 2005, when I was gifted a DIY card making kit at the age of 12. It was love at first cut-and-stick! Growing up with Brittle Asthma meant I spent a lot of time at home or in hospital. Crafting became more than just a creative outlet—it became a lifeline, a way to stay busy, hopeful, and sane during tough times.

Like many, I discovered Stampin’ Up! through YouTube, watching American demonstrators share their infectious enthusiasm and stunning projects. I knew immediately that I wanted to be part of that world. Although I had to wait until I turned 18 to officially join, I remained a loyal customer for two years before signing up—and that’s when the crafty mayhem truly began!

While my journey with Stampin’ Up! brought me countless friendships and creative opportunities, it also gave me the confidence to return to education and pursue Fine Art, a decision that completely changed my path.

Fast forward to today—after many wonderful years with Stampin’ Up!, I took the leap in 2024 to explore the wider world of papercraft. I’m now proud to work as a TV craft demonstrator, sharing my passion with even more people and showcasing exciting products from across the industry. Whether it’s designing, teaching, or inspiring others through social media and live demonstrations, I feel so lucky to do what I love every single day.

I’m always open to new collaborations, creative opportunities, and industry partnerships—so if you’re looking for someone who lives and breathes paper, sparkle, and a little bit of mayhem, let’s chat!

Thanks for stopping by—now let’s get crafting!

Today’s palette is a dreamy winter trio in collaboration with @concordand9th:
Wildberry • Lakefront • Harbor 💙💗

I ended up making two cards because once I started playing with these colours and the Snowflake Season Border Dies, I just… couldn’t stop. The crisp white snowflakes against the bold striped backgrounds? Yes please. And those layered sentiments add the perfect festive finish.

✨ Day 24 – Twinkle All the Way ✨ Today’s challeng ✨ Day 24 – Twinkle All the Way ✨

Today’s challenge theme is all about sparkle, shimmer, and starry-night magic — so of course I had to go full Santa soaring through a glittering sky for this one! 💫

I used the Layered Scene Cutting Die Kit from @mydiamondpress to build this snowy silhouette scene, complete with a navy night sky, twinkling stars, and a sleigh that shines in silver glitter. It’s simple, elegant, and just the right amount of festive ✨

Today is all about LIGHTS, SPARKLE, and STARLIT MAGIC!
Whether it’s glowing fairy lights, shimmering stars, or enough glitter to make the elves jealous — this prompt is made to shine.

You could:
🌟 Add star clusters, constellations, or a glowing night sky
🎄 Create a string of festive lights using gems, die cuts, or hand-drawn bulbs
✨ Use glitter paste, foil, sequins, or sparkly embossing powder for extra twinkle
💫 Keep it magical with soft ink-blended light glows or halos

✨ Day 23 – My Card Reveal! ✨ Here’s my take on to ✨ Day 23 – My Card Reveal! ✨

Here’s my take on today’s sketch challenge — created using the gorgeous Peppermint Twist Collection from @rosiesstudiocraft! 💗💚

I leaned into those soft pastel tones with layered poinsettias, crumpled patterned papers for texture, and a bold MERRY Christmas sentiment right across the centre. A few sequins and a twine bow finish everything with that sweet festive charm. 🎀✨
