OSAT! OSAT! OSAT! It feels like ages since I last posted with these fabulous lot! It one of my favourite times of month. Each month we work under a theme and have to make a card and a 3D item or tag. Fun right? What makes it even better is knowing knowing this months theme; End of Summer.
Now there’s lots of ideas that could be branches off from this theme. I personally took it rather literally. Sometime this is the best way and can lead to you running off ideas left right and centre making looks of amazing ideas. For inspiration I took a look outside into my garden. Right now we have so many soft colours just popping out of the shrubbery. Due to this I had you use the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set.
As I wanted the soft subtle tone from the garden, I used Petal Pink and Soft Sea Form and they are just so delicate. If you ask anyone they will tell you that they love Stampin’ Up colours and how they all coordinated together. These two colours are categorised into the Subtle collection and you can see why! I won’t lie I was a little stuck on what to stamp the sentiment in those, black would have been too harsh and what ever colours would I use? In the end I used Sahara Sand and it’s wasn’t as brash and all the others.
The biggest talking point has to the drop dead gorgeous background, don’t you just love it? It’s the Tin Tile Embossing Folder and I’ve wanted it for ages. Now I’ve got it your going to see it a lot and this project was the perfect starting point. It’s a must have in your collection, and I shared a preview of this and it was more popular than some of my projects!
