All I will start by saying was yesterday was a terrible day. Yesterday was my day in which to get everything done, I did manage to make some cards but none that I really like. That was just the start evening recording the videos it just didn’t go well at all! Even the photos turned out terrible and I’ve done nothing different.
Today’s card is absolutely stinking cute, I adore how effeminate this card is with all the pink and purple tones. The colour theme came straight from the Perennial Essence DSP. This DSP has to be inspired by the great artist Monet’s Water Lilies. The colours used are Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White and Petal Pink. Don’t theses colours work perfectly together?
With the greeting itself, of course I had to find something as feminine as the DSP itself. The Woven Heirloom was one that I didn’t really think I’d use to start with but I just love the font. I’d like to say it’s a lot like my own handwriting just 100% neater, but doesn’t it just work so well with the DSP? I stamped this onto a piece of Petal Pink Card Stock that has been cut out using the Stitched Shape Circle.
I wanted a little something to pull the card all together. I always say that it’s the little details that escalated and lift a card up. The first part was me adding the Missy Meadow Twine around the DSP, this allowed me to incorporate every colours within the DSP. The second part is the adorable flowers from the Budding Blooms Dies. Just by lifting the petals up you can give such dimensions and the little Rhinestones in the centre just hits this card off.
Now what’s the plan for me. Firstly attempt to retake all the photos, edit and watermark it. Then try to finish up some ideas, currently I’m trying to get the Stamping Society all sorted. Pray for me!
