Sometimes a photo just doesn’t do it justice… so h Sometimes a photo just doesn’t do it justice… so here’s the foil shine in action ✨

This card was created using the Hugs in Bloom Press / Hot Foil Plate / Die Set & Stencil Bundle from @alexsyberiadesigns and the gold foiling on this design is honestly stunning in real life. The way it catches the light against the deep green cardstock is one of those little crafty moments that makes you stop and stare for a second.

I paired the foiled background with soft pink florals and the large Hugs sentiment to create an elegant thank you card.

If you’re curious about how the card came together, the full project is up on my blog.

Do you prefer press plates or hot foiling for your card backgrounds? I’d love to know!

For my project I created this elegant floral card using the Hugs in Bloom Press / Hot Foil Plate / Die Set & Stencil Bundle. I absolutely love how versatile this set is — you can press it, foil it, stencil it, and die cut it for beautifully layered florals with so much dimension. The gold detailing paired with the soft pink florals felt like the perfect combination for a heartfelt card.

Spring florals always make me happy, and this card Spring florals always make me happy, and this card was such a joy to create! 🌷

I used the beautiful Tulips and Daffodils Press + Foil Plate and Stencil Bundle from @teamspellbinders to create this soft floral background. The details in the press plate are incredible and the coordinating stencils make colouring the design so easy.

For the colouring I reached for my @olomarker pens to bring the tulips and daffodils to life. I love how smoothly they blend and they’re perfect for adding soft shading to florals like these.

A little white splatter, a simple sentiment and some dimension with foam adhesive finished the card off nicely.

If you love floral designs, this bundle is definitely one worth adding to your crafty stash!

A stylish pair of shoes deserves a stylish birthda A stylish pair of shoes deserves a stylish birthday card! 👠

Today I’m sharing this fun birthday card created with the Chic Shoes Die Set from @alexsyberiadesigns. I absolutely love how playful this set is – the shoes make such a great focal point and are perfect for celebration cards.

To build the design, I layered the shoes with bright florals, added a little twine for texture, and finished everything with some sparkle and splatter. The pastel colour palette makes the whole card feel cheerful and perfect for a birthday.

This card is also part of the @alexsyberiadesigns March Release Blog Hop, so if you’d like to see more inspiration from the new release (and enter the giveaway), make sure to check out the link in my bio to visit the blog post.

Happy crafting!

I’m so excited to be joining the hop today celebrating the brand new release from @altenewllc!

For my project I created this bright and cheerful card using the Mini Delight: Stylish Shades Stamp & Die Set, featuring a playful pair of sunglasses surrounded by colourful florals. I coloured the flowers with alcohol markers and layered them around the focal point to create a fun floral frame. The soft pink background keeps everything light and spring-ready, while the gems and splatter add a little extra sparkle.
