Card Inspiration Feathered Lilies Thank You Card
For this card, I wanted to lean into a warm, earthy palette to create something that feels both luxurious and heartfelt. The deep brown background paired with the golden yellow lilies creates a striking contrast, while the soft ink blending keeps everything cohesive.
The addition of splatter, sequins, and a vellum sentiment helps soften the overall look while still keeping that rich, layered feel.
- Start with a dark brown card base and cut a slightly smaller panel in the same tone.
- Ink blend around the edges of the top panel to create a soft vignette effect and adhere it with foam tape for dimension.
- Stamp the Feathered Lilies image onto white cardstock using a light ink.
- Use the coordinating stencils to blend colour onto the florals—opt for warm yellows and soft greens for a natural look.
- Add a touch of deeper shading with ink blending or markers to enhance the depth of the petals.
- Die cut the floral arrangement using the coordinating die.
