For today’s card, I’ve combined the beautiful Build-A-Garden: Rosa Gallica with the bold and versatile Mega Greetings Stamp Set to create something that really pops.
Why you’ll love the Build-A-Garden: Rosa Gallica
If you love colouring florals, this set is an absolute standout.
- The Rosa Gallica images are beautifully detailed, making them perfect for alcohol marker colouring
- The large floral elements are ideal for framing your card designs
- You can easily build depth and dimension with layered stamping or colouring techniques
- It works just as well for bold, dramatic cards as it does for soft, elegant designs
- It’s incredibly versatile across different occasions just by switching up your sentiment
This set really does all the heavy lifting in a design — once your florals are down, the rest of the card comes together effortlessly.
Card Inspiration Bold Floral

For this card, I wanted the florals from Build-A-Garden: Rosa Gallica to frame the design while keeping the centre open for that large, eye-catching sentiment. The soft pink blooms against the deep background give it a really striking look, and the finishing touches add just the right amount of detail without taking away from the main design.
- Stamp the Rosa Gallica florals onto white cardstock.
- Colour the images with alcohol markers, blending the petals and leaves for soft dimension.
- Die cut the florals using the coordinating dies.
- Create your card base and add a matching mat layer.
- Stamp additional floral images around the edges, colour them to coordinate, and place the die cut pieces over the top to build up the design.
- Stamp the large sentiment from the Mega Greetings Stamp Set in Versamark, emboss it in white, and fussy cut it out.
- Attach the sentiment to the card front so it becomes the main focal point.
- Run the smaller sentiment through the One-Go: Solid Sentiment Strips 3 Press Plates/Foil Plates (Gratitude Edition) using brown ink.
- Add the sentiment strip across the main greeting.
- Finish with ink splatter, a linen bow, and a few sequins for extra texture and detail.
That combination of die cut florals, embossed sentiment, and layered detail gives the card a really polished look while still letting the beautiful Rosa Gallica images do the heavy lifting.
