Most of us reach for them to spell out names or sentiments, but for this card I challenged myself to use them differently. Instead of creating a word, I used a single oversized letter as a subtle background element behind the florals—and I love how it turned out!

It just goes to show that sometimes the products you’ve owned for years still have new techniques waiting to be discovered.

Sometimes all it takes is a handmade card to let s Sometimes all it takes is a handmade card to let someone know you're thinking of them. 💕

For today's card, I wanted to show that alphabet dies aren't just for spelling names or sentiments. I used the Altenew Classic Alphabet Die Set to create a subtle monogram background, paired with beautiful florals and a vellum sentiment for a soft, elegant finish.

I love how versatile this die set is—you can personalise cards with initials, create bold focal points, or even use the letters as design elements like I have here.

I had so much fun putting this one together! 💙🩷 T I had so much fun putting this one together! 💙🩷

The star of today's card is the Altenew Classic Alphabet Die Set. Instead of using a traditional sentiment, I die cut the word GIRL from a bright pink panel and popped it up over a bright blue card base for lots of dimension.

I then added flowers from the Mini Delight: Stylish Shades Stamp & Die Set, coloured to match the background, and finished everything with a simple "You Are Awesome" sentiment and a little black splatter.

Sometimes a bold sentiment and a few florals are all you need. 😊

For this card, I used the Hello Friend Clear Stamp & Die Bundle from @heroarts to create a clean and cheerful design that's perfect for sending a little happy mail. The bold navy sentiment takes centre stage, while the scattered florals add just the right amount of colour and whimsy.

I finished it off with a simple twine bow for a touch of texture. Sometimes the simplest designs are the ones I love most!

Do you prefer clean and simple cards or do you like to add lots of layers and embellishments?
