Hello and welcome to the Artisan Design Team Blog Hop for November. This month we are featuring the amazing Snowflake Splendor Suite [155115]. Now we should all be ready to send out our Christmas cards however if you are like me and still have a few to make, can I recommend this suite to you. I have really enjoyed using it and as you will see from this blog hop, it fits so many different styles.
Snowflake Splendor Suite
All the items in the Snowflake Splendor Suite [155115] are available under one item number however all the items are also available separately. Love the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set [153444] only? Just treat yourself to that. The items are currently limited stock so if there were a few things on your wish list, don’t hesitate if you can.
TOdays Project
There is a lot of wintery colours in the Snowflake Splendor Suite [155115], some are my all-time favourite colours. This being said I did bring in the Pretty Peacock Card [150886] & Classic Ink [150083] as this colour just works beautifully with the Pool Party in the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper [153512]. I love the pairing the suite down on these projects and just letting the beautiful products speak for themselves.
You will notice that the Pretty Peacock Card [150886] bases have a slight Ombre effect going on. If you follow me on YouTube you might have seen my tone on tone ink blending technique. This one is the exact same way however here I have just left half the card its natural colour with the remaining having the coordinating ink applied. It’s such an easy and effective way to turn a boring background into something that little bit extra. This is why my Sponger Brayer [141714] is my favourite all time tool.
I love empty space on a project however sometimes there is too much. This is why I love, love, love the snowflake dies from the So Many Snowflake Dies [153560]. Just check out the large snowflake in the background. I used a die that cuts out the small elements to create a snowflake design. How cool is that? I left a few of the sections in just for some added interest but you can see how it adds the extra layer to this project.
The sentiments within the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set [153444] where stamped in Pretty Peacock Classic Ink [150083] onto Whisper White Card [106549]. I wanted a little detail for the sentiment as well. To do this I used the Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack [154894] to highlight the wording in a different font.

Martin, I love your bold approach to colour and the clever ways you use ink – just the kind of thing I like to play around with too. These cards are just fabulous. The tiny flicks of white are just the perfect finish.
