Happy Friday everyone! I will start with a confession, this post was meant to go live yesterday however life got in the way. Nevertheless, I wanted to share the project with you anyway. I was stamping along with Stampin’ Though The Catalog, these girls are fab at challenging you to use some stamp sets that you might not have used. Today I am using the Pattern Play Bundle [154087] that is currently available in the Annual Catalogue. Make sure you request a copy of your very own.
Pattern Play bundle
The Pattern Play Bundle [154087] is available where you save 10% off the total price of the products in the bundle. This being said should you just want one of the items all of the products are available separately.
Todays Card
My plan was to have some really bright and colourful cards using both the stamp set and dies in the Pattern Play Bundle [154087]. While I started with this in mind, I just couldn’t get it to work. I could have easily started over however used some elements that I like and incorporate them into a new project. This is my normal process. Make it and then start again correcting the bits I don’t like.
In the end I let out the inner romantic in me by focusing on the little heart stamps. These are found in the Pattern Play Stamp Set [152523] that is available in the bundle. I love all the different patterns in the set, so much so I gave as a host gift a few months ago. I stamped all the hearts in Versamark Ink [102283] masking off the other two hearts off before stamping. This allowed me to vary the size of the heart without cutting the stamp. Some people do it you know.
I created my own sentiment using the Playful Alphabet Dies [152706] with some Smoky Slate Card [131291]. This is what I love most about the dies. You can really create anything with them to fit anyone. For example, do you have a pet name or a sharing you have with your partner? Why not add it to their valentine’s day card?
