Hello and welcome to the Artisan Design Team’s blog hop for October. This month we are featuring the In the Pines Bundle [155182] that was new with the August-December Mini Catalogue. You might already be aware of this bundle however for me it was one that I overlooked. After creating today’s projects though I feel that I’m inspired to keep making.

The In the Pines Bundle [155182] features the In the Pines Stamp Set [153448] as well as the Pine Woods Dies [153563]. Did you know that by purchasing the bundle option you are saving 10% off the combined price? It’s a no brainier, buy bundle and spend the 10% save on something else in the catalogue.
The projects
I wanted to keep the projects for this month’s hop as organic as possible. By this I mean keeping the colours incorporated as nature as possible. This is why you’ll notice I added greens and browns to these cards as well as a little bit of gold. I don’t know about you but I am loving gold at the moment and the Gilded Gems [152478] are the perfect accessory.
For the sentiments I found myself wanting a little more than the ones included within the In the Pines Stamp Set [153448]. No because they weren’t good enough, I just felt like they needed a little support to make them pop. To fix this I brought in the Playful Alphabet Dies [152706], you’ve seen me use these before. I used these with some Gold Foil Sheets [132622].
Another items that is featured heavily in these projects is the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder [153576]. This embossing folder is crazy. When you emboss it through with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine [149653] you see that it creates two leaves of embossing. I really wanted to emphasis this so before embossing I applied a little ink in Pear Pizzazz [147104] and Old Olive [147090]. To achieve the water wash effect I gave it a little spritz with a Stampin’ Spritzer [126185].
