Hello and welcome to February’s Artisan Design Team Blog Hop. Today the team are featuring the Peaceful Poppies Suite and all I can say is WOW. There is so much included within this suite you won’t be stuck for ideas. The versatility of this suite is demonstrated perfectly by my Artisan Sisters as you will see there is so many different styles.
For my input into the pot I really wanted to do something different while adding one of my favourite techniques. If you are like me you’ll be drawn into the suite by the Painted Poppies Stamp Set and the poppy stamps. They are just perfect for your colouring preference whether this be colouring with you Stampin’ Blends or like me a little water colouring. For the flowers on my projects, I stamped the images down onto some Fluid 100 water colouring paper using Pool Party for the main colour.
Within the suite you will find the amazing Peaceful Poppies Sequins that have some really great colours. There is a range of 5 colours in total, these include; Black, Clear, Gold, Poppy Parade and Light Poppy Parade. I took the main colours featured in these cards from this pack of Sequins and who doesn’t love black and gold together?
I love all the items in this suite and while I could just go on listing each item and that I adore about it I’ll keep it short. This being said I wanted to just highlight one more product, the Whisper White ¼” Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. I really wanted to use this ribbon on my project but it didn’t match my colour combo. I used the Stampin’ Blends in Old Olive and Pool Party and simply swipe the brush tip along your ribbon and hey presto!
