Who says markers are just for colouring images? F Who says markers are just for colouring images?

For this card, I used the new @olomarker Fine Nib Markers to create that bold, hand-drawn plaid background — and honestly, this is exactly why I’m so excited about them. The fine nib gives you so much control for thin lines, wider strokes, overlapping colour and creating your own custom patterned paper.

I kept the rest of the card clean with the @simonsaysstamp Luna Flower Wafer Dies in white, so the background could really do its thing.

The OLO Fine Nib Markers are currently available to preorder through a crowd-funded campaign, which means they need enough support before they can go into production. If you’ve been thinking about reserving yours, now is the time to help make them happen.

You can read more about this card over on the blog — link in bio.

OLO Fine Nib Tip:
For a hand-drawn plaid look, use the OLO Fine Nib Markers to build up intersecting lines and blocks of colour.

For my project, I created this bright floral friendship card featuring the Dewdrop Daisy Wafer Dies. I love how these layered daisies create so much dimension, and pairing the crisp white blooms with a deep navy background really makes them stand out. A little ink blending on the leaves, white splatter and a few iridescent sequins finish everything off perfectly.

The Dewdrop Daisy Wafer Dies are such a versatile set—I can already see myself reaching for them for friendship, birthday and encouragement cards all year round.

You can find the products I've used via the link in my bio.
