Why you’ll love the Sunshine & Rainbows Dies

If you’re someone who loves combining clean lines with a dash of charm, these dies are made for you. The Sunshine & Rainbows Dies set is packed with large-scale clouds, sunshine details, and that standout layered sentiment—“hello sunshine.” It’s the kind of set that allows you to build a card scene that’s full of life and movement without needing extra embellishment.
Every crafter needs a go-to die set that brings instant cheer—and this is it. Whether you’re creating encouragement cards, happy mail, or even birthday cards, these elements are incredibly versatile. The clouds alone can be used for baby themes, dreamy backdrops, or even winter scenes. The sun works across seasons, and the sentiment? Well, that’s just good vibes in die-cut form.
This is one of those sets that will keep resurfacing on your desk, no matter the occasion.
Card Inspiration – Hello Sunshine

Let’s talk about this card—a fresh and sunny layered design with plenty of visual interest. The depth in this card really comes from the mix of raised panels, ink blending, and that subtle shading on the clouds. It’s those little touches that pull it all together into something truly special.
Step-by-step Instructions:
- Create the base – Start with a top-folding A2 card base in light blue. Cut a panel in a deeper blue shade and adhere it to the centre, slightly smaller than the card front to create a framed effect.
- Die-cut your elements – Using the Sunshine & Rainbows Dies, cut out multiple clouds, the sun, and the “hello sunshine” sentiment from white cardstock. Cut the sun again from yellow cardstock to layer the rays.
- Add depth with ink – Lightly ink the edges of the clouds using Concord & 9th’s Pebble ink or a similar pale grey. This soft shading gives the clouds subtle definition and dimension.
- Assemble the sky – Layer the die-cut elements onto your panel. The sun should peek out from behind the largest cloud, and the sentiment takes centre stage, slightly overlapping the clouds for a cohesive look.
- Add embellishments – Finish the design with a few clear sequins scattered around the clouds to mimic the sparkle of a fresh sky.
- Adhere the panel – Use foam tape to attach the panel to your card base, lifting it slightly to enhance the layered feel.
The end result is a clean yet impactful design that feels full of movement and cheer.
