Card Inspiration – Keep Shining Like a Superstar
To show off the Roll With It Bundle, I went all out with a vibrant rainbow background made from Concord & 9th cardstock strips. Each vertical strip adds bold colour and energy, making the perfect backdrop for those standout skates.
The skates were die-cut from neutral tones with pops of bright pink and metallic silver to give them that classic roller disco flair. I added dimension using foam tape behind some of the layers to really let them roll off the card!
Step-by-step instructions:
- Create your background: Cut 1″ vertical strips of cardstock in a rainbow of colours (I used Concord & 9th’s signature palette). Adhere them side-by-side on a card panel to create a bold striped background.
- Die cut the skates: Use the Roll With It Dies to cut the skates from light grey cardstock, with accents in purple, black, and white. Add pink wheels and tiny brad accents for extra detail.
- Add the sentiment: Stamp or heat emboss the “Keep Shining Like a Superstar” sentiment in white on black cardstock and die cut with the included banner die.
- Assemble the card: Arrange the skates on your rainbow background using foam adhesive for depth. Position the sentiment across the bottom centre.
- Embellish: Scatter die-cut stars and sequins across the panel for that finishing sparkle.
- Mount the panel: Add your decorated panel to a card base with foam tape to lift it and enhance dimension.
