Card Inspiration – Hello Sunshine
Here’s how this bright and cheerful card came together:
Step-by-step instructions:
- Background Base: I started by pressing the Petal Poetry Press-Tacular Plate onto soft green cardstock using the BetterPress system. This gave a subtle, textured look that still allowed the florals to shine.
- Colouring the Florals: Using the coordinating layering stencils, I added colour with soft pinks, purples, and fresh greens for a springtime palette. The stencils made alignment a breeze.
- Die-Cutting: I used the matching Petal Poetry die to cut out sections of the florals for added dimension. A few pieces were popped up using foam tape for that layered effect.
- Sentiment: The showstopper sentiment was created with the Meraki Moments Hello Para-Dies, cut from white cardstock and layered for depth. I added the heat-embossed “SUNSHINE” sentiment on kraft cardstock for a bit of contrast.
- Finishing Touches: A few silver sequins and white paint splatters brought everything together with a touch of sparkle and movement.
