Happy Thursday! I hope you are having a good week so far. I am excited to be sharing with sharing another project created using some amazing new product from Stampin’ Up! If you have been living under a rock and missed that we have had a new catalogue release – You can request one here. Today’s project was created with Every Chapter Stamp Set [158017] which I simply love.
Every Chapter Stamp Set
Create friendship-themed homemade cards with the Every Chapter Stamp Set [158017]. This open line art stamp set is sized perfectly to fill a card front with just one stamp and can be coloured using a variety of colouring techniques. Use the masking technique to stamp the image without the text and create fun and unique bookplates.
Todays Card
The Every Chapter Stamp Set [158017] is a big old stamp but its not quite a background stamp. This is a standard UK C6 card base measuring once folded 14.8cm x 10.5cm. You can see that there is plenty of space around the image. I love this image because I can colour it in and really experiment with tone. I used a mixture of Stampin’ Blends that are all listed below in the supply list. Colouring isn’t for everyone which is why I stamped and embossed the image only for the tag.
I know one question I will be asked is if there is ‘Is there a coordinating die?’. Unfortunately not however there is some joy in fussy cutting. It’s a super easy way to create an impact. On element of this card that was die cut was the stars from the Give It A Whirl Dies [154336]. I die cut these shapes out of Basic White Card [159228]. From looking at all the elements I felt it was all lost in the background. In order to counteract this I created a template with copier paper to ink blended a shape in the background.
