Happy Friday! Can you believe its October? Where is 2021 going? Pure craziness. Nevertheless with us reaching a new month we see a release of a new Stamping Society Tutorial. The real reason for the excitement. This month we are focusing on the Gorgeous Leave Stamp Set . This stamp set is available in the August-December Mini Catalogue. You can request one here.
Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leave Stamp Set
Add a touch of nature to your handmade cards and scrapbook pages using the Gorgeous Leaves Stamp Set . Layer the leaves over the background images for a dimensional look, or use the background images alone to add visual texture. You can easily create a border by stamping the trio of small leaves in groups.
I wanted to share my customer ‘Thank You’ cards for August for this post. As you can see it uses a very traditional in the colour combination for the autumnal theme. The background was created with Sahara Sand Ink being blended onto the background. The shape of the ink blend was something that I quick sketched out and snipped it out. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen me do this. If you don’t follow me, you can follow me here: https://www.instagram.com/martinmayhem/
I really wanted to incorporate the Pumpkin Pie into this card. Why? I really don’t know. The Artisans were having a chat about colour, and I think it wasn’t very popular. Lord knows why, I love it. You’ll have to let me know your opinion in the comments below. I also incorporated Cajun Craze Ink , Old Olive Ink and Early Espresso Ink . The sentiment is from the Biggest Wish Stamp Set which just works perfectly.
