Happy Thursday! I’m excited to be back today to share with you some of the project that I have previously created for an Artisan assignment. These cards were created with the Evergreen Elegance Bundle [155579]. Now when this got posted through my draw, I did stop and think ‘What the..?’ but I made something that I really think is fun and playful.
Evergreen Elegance Bundle
Warm people’s heart during the Christmas season with the Evergreen Elegance Bundle [155579]. Perfect for cardmaking, tags, and more, this lovely set includes winter imagery, Christmas greetings, and friendship sentiments you will not want to miss. This stamp set is also available in French and German.
Todays Card
Both cards heavily feature the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper [156329] which allowed me to bring in so many colours. One colour that I loved incorporating was the Polished Pink. It is such a contemporary twist on Christmas. The colour itself was really a bit too bright, so my trick was to stamp the image off onto some scrap paper.
I used the Evergreen Border Punch [153603] within the Evergreen Elegance Bundle [155579] to create a few points of interest. The first being the tree edge that I used to sit behind the stamped images. While this is white on white is create a subtle detail. I also used the punch with some Mint Macaron Card [138344]. With this strip I cut the individual trees down and distressed them to add additional interest.
For the final card I went so heavy with Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper [156329]. This being side you don’t mind so much because Basic White Card [159228] base breaks it up. There was still a lot of empty space on the card however I broke it up with some of the smaller stamps.
