It’s Friday! My favourite day of the week. Not only because it’s the weekend by because I get to hop with some of a fellow male crafter’s. That’s right I’m back again with The Gentlemen Crafter Design Team. I really wanted to bring out a classic stamp set that has been gathering dust; the Free As A Bird Stamp Set [149468].
Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Stamp Set
The Free As A Bird Stamp Set [149468] includes a combination of sweet birds, flowers, branches and friend-centric greetings. The birds can be coloured and customised to create many types of birds. Send them to all your friends because they deserve it. Also available in French and German.
Todays Project
The Free As A Bird Stamp Set [149468] has these wonderful sketched imagery and I don’t know about you but the flowers are my favourite. I stamped these images in Memento Ink [132708] as I knew I wanted to colour with my Stampin’ Blends. These where coloured in Balmy Blue [154830] & Old Olive [154892].
I created the crescent moon by cutting some Basic White Card [159228] using the Layering Circle Dies [151770]. I also coloured this with my Basic Black [154843] & Smokey Slate [154904] Stampin’ Blends. Once the elements had been assembled, I felt like it need something else to just make it pop. I ran to my Blending Brushing [153611] and popped a little Flirty Flamingo Ink [147052] behind. It just makes the blues/greys pop.

It’s wonderful! I love the crescent moon with the sponged “pink” and also the three “lines” which give just a hint of grunge. Perfect!
