It’s Sunday and if you are waking up early tomorrow to do the normal 9-5 hopefully this will distract you for a moment. I’m back again with another project created with the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle [155821]. This time I’m sharing the project that I created for my customer ‘Thank You’ cards, these were sent out to everyone who placed an order in January with me.
BUTTERFLY BRILLIANCE BUNDLE
The Butterfly Brilliance Bundle [155821] includes the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set and the Brilliant Wings Dies.
TODAYS PROJECT
For today’s project I will confess to using contraband, that’s right I used Purple Posy Ink which was discontinued due to an issue with the pigment. That’s all 2019 drama. Due to this I feel like this colour hasn’t been given the chance it deserves. I love it and know that I have started I can’t stop using it! Instead of using Purple Posy Ink you can use Versamark [102283] or even Highland Heather Ink [147103] stamped off once.
So I have unintentionally shared three cards created with So Saffron Card [108611] also included. I promise there are more coming with plenty of different colours! This is just bad planning on my part. On the plus however you can see exactly how versatile So Saffron is. I honestly think it works so well because of the Natural Touch Specialty Paper [156825].
All the sentiments that I have been using are from the Blossom In Blooms Stamp Set [152684]. I love this stamp set for the imagery however the sentiments are pretty not descript. Just perfect to coordinate with the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle [155821].

Oy! Martin! I’m going to have to start with picking you up on being sooo hard on yourself matey boyo – quote ~ “This is just bad planning on my part. On the plus however you can see exactly how versatile So Saffron is.” ~ unquote. Nope! I’m having to beg to differ with you my dear artistic friend, I think you have highlighted ‘So Saffron’ like no one else has – not that I am aware of anyhow. You, Martin have also demonstrated – in a ‘subtle’ kind of way just how well it partners with Purple Posy. Light yellow and soft lilac is a classic combo that’s here to stay – for Spring and also for Winter in a retro/classic/vintage kind of way. Do you think ‘the powers that be’ will continue with their endeavours to bring it back to the colour lab? I hope they do – it would make a brilliant embossing paste / shimmer paint! Teamed with the NEW ‘Basic White’ and it’s so clean and fresh. It’s helped boot 2020 out the back door and bid a wonderful breath of freshness to 2021!
Moving on with a LOL! What is takes for a true Artisan to get ready for going live! I think a man who goes bald naturally looks very sophisticated and it shows a good degree of intelligence too. Those who purposely shave their heads have nothing to gain unless they can’t be bothered to take a shower. Your little curl is as cute as your angled fringe, but no fear you can return to the barbers now!
Onto the purpose of this video ~ I got to 14:42 and was screaming at the screen – “How on earth did this young man get onto the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design team!!? How do you expect anyone to watch this demonstration for 27:06 more minutes – please!
