Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance Bundle

I’m so excited to be back with you today with the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle [155821]. The Artisan brief we had to work to had instructed us to create two projects. The first one, which I share the other day and today’s card was the second. Out of the two, even though there are similarities they are so different. All because of colour.

TODAYS PROJECT

There is another theme running through all the card that I have created. Stitching. I kind of looked over it on the last card however you can’t really miss it on this card. Now, even though I have an A-Level equivalent qualification in Fashion Design/Construction, I hate sewing. Even on cards, it just doesn’t go right, but the effect is amazing.

This bundle is just perfect in so many different colours. I choose a card base of Pretty Peacock Card [150886] but also paired a little So Saffron Card [108611] to sit behind the main butterfly. These colours just work beautifully with the Natural Touch Specialty Paper [156825].

I die cut the Natural Touch Specialty Paper [156825] out with the Tasteful Label Dies [152886]. Now this paper Specialty Paper is very thin, if you are going to pop this up onto Stampin’ Dimensionals [104430] then I would back it with an additional die cut of Basic White Card [159228]. These die cuts will line up perfecting and your card will be ten times as stable.
