OSAT – Stampin’ Up! Brushed Blooms Bundle

Happy Thursday! Today I am back with the wonderful One Stamp at a Time Design team. Once a month a hop to some really fun themes that I’m sure you’ll love. This month we are working to the theme of ‘Three Cheers’; this is just basically just birthday cards! I did try to avoid florals however I gave in and ended up using the Brushed Blooms Bundle [156231].

The Brushed Blooms Bundle [156231] includes the Brushed Blooms Stamp Set [154432] and the Beautiful Brushstrokes Dies [154320]. This bundle is also available in French and German. This bundle is available in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue.

Todays Projects

I wanted to make a statement with bold colours for the project. The card base is a piece of Night of Navy Card [106577] which I had rubbed the Night of Navy Ink Pad [147110] across to create some added interest. This creates a little detail in the background before we add the additional details.

In combination of with the Night of Navy, I wanted to incorporate some pink tones in contrast. I choose Blushing Bride [131287] & Flirty Flamingo Card [141421], don’t you just love these colours together? The floral shapes using the Beautiful Brushstrokes Dies [154320], the layers are all the same colour without me amending the tone in the slightest. I did this on so that the dies would almost look as if they were painted with Oil Paints.

As there is so much happening on this project, I wanted to keep the finishing touches really simple. To do this I added a little Whisper White Ink [147277] splatter over the top of the card. Once this was dry, I stamped the sentiment from Brushed Blooms Stamp Set [154432] in Night of Navy Ink [147110].
