Hello and welcome to the Artisan Design Team 2020 blog hop. Its December so that means it’s the last hop of the year and for us as a team. So please leave some love in the comments on this post by also the other members as well. It’s been an amazing year and we are finishing on a high. This month we are featuring the Posted For You Bundle [154075]. Now I’ll be honest. I overlooked and disregarded it, consider me converted.
Posted For You Bundle
As always, the items within the Posted For You Bundle [154075] are available individually however by purchasing the bundle you save 10%. If you ask me, it’s a no brainer to get the bundle.
Todays Project
For today’s card I wanted to really focus on the accent stamps on creating and building a background. I used Crumb Cake Card [121685] for the base as well as a matching layer. It is on the matted layer that I used the coordinating Crumb Cake Ink [147116] to stamp a few of the images within the set. These stamps are layered over each other to create a little interest. If you wanted a bigger impact swap the Crumb Cake Ink [147116] for Early Espresso Ink [147114].
Within the Posted For You Stamp Set [152621] there are two stamps with different floral designs which sit together beautifully. I stamped these flowers in Early Espresso Ink [147114] before colouring them with Cherry Cobbler [154880] & Old Olive [154892] Stampin Blends. There are so simple to colour, the hard part is the fussy cutting. Now I quite like fussy cutting, its something I’m able to do in front of the TV, but some people are a fan. As you can see I stamped, coloured and cut a few flowers so that I was able to cluster these.
I used the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch [152709] to create a base for all of our fussy cut element as well as the sentiment. What I love most about the punches is how you are able to feed the punched shape and punch it again. The sentiment was heat embossed in Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder [109129] onto Cherry Cobbler Card [121681]. You can see it that well due to the lighting however it really pops. This gold is also complimented by the gold thread and the Gilded Gems [152478].

Each time I look at your ADT projects, I think they’re my favourites of all your work … but this time, I’m sure of it. I love these. This is a colour combination I’m personally fond of but the way you’ve done these cards – priceless! I’m delighted that you’re back on the team for the next year and I look forward to seeing more of your magnificence in the coming year. Happy Christmas to you.
