Hello everyone! Welcome to a second instalment from the Artisan Design Team post celebrating the release of the Curvy Celebrations Products. In additional to last months blog post, this is just another opportunity for use to share just a few more ideas.
Todays Project
This month I was given the Quite Curvy Stamp Set [154430] and coordinating Curvy Dies [154319] to play with. I was so excited because just look at them birds, aren’t they just the cutest things you’ve seen? Instantly I knew these are what I wanted to focus on. Of course, I used Sahara Sand Card [121695] as base for the images. Our fabulous Stampin’ Blends work beautifully on colour card stock and can create a great effect.
I had planned to have the ivy branches however I found this wasn’t quite enough. Therefore I took an ivy string die that both cuts and emboss the card at the same time. This is where we get a little fiddly. All the die cut shapes where then individually coloured with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack [154892], alternating between light and dark. I used a little bit of tape on the back of the card just to secure the little leaves in place. A little detail that goes a long way.

Beautiful the way you’ve inlaid the tiny vine leaves behind the ivy branches. I like the clever way you’ve turned the sentiment into a fishtail banner.

Job well done with the embossing and debossing. Look at those birdies being so happy on your card. So pretty
