You guys rock! I feel so encouraged to keep posting and creating project these projects for the 30 Day Card Making Challenge. I know a lot of you are really enjoying it and joining in. From people in little Facebook groups to people gaining new creative friends across the globe.
Today is Day 8 in the challenge and it is the first card sketch! I had planned more to have more of these however I got too distract with some of the other themes. Nevertheless I still included some. I draw out card sketches all the time but it was a whole new board game in making it digital.
I love seeing everyone take on Card Sketch Challenges and love seeing the different takes on them. That’s something that I wanted to do. I was originally going to use the Dressed to Impress Stamp Set and elements from the suite however like most of my ideas it went sideways. I ended up using the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set that is just one of my favourite sets.
I ended up creating my own backdrop using the stamps in the set with Blackberry Bliss, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. These colours were found in the Best Dressed Suite which as stated before was originally the inspiration for this card. The stars in the sketch was going to be stamped images but I got carried away and you had to settle for some pearls!
