Well I would never have thought I’d make it to day 7 without any issues at all, however so far we are all good. Hopefully it continues this way. How are you all finding the challenge? I have been notified that a lot of people are taking doing in different ways – doing it within their craft groups all sorts. It fantastic and I’m really enjoying seeing what you guys are doing.
Day 7 in the challenge is all about rainbows and incorporating the 7 wonderful colours in one project. Now I have seen this done a lot by so many people and it is just a fabulous way to bright anyone’s day. Are you a rainbow lover?
For my submission to this challenge, I ended up using the Ornate Style Stamp Set however it wasn’t my first choice. My first choice was to go for the Leave a little Sparkle Stamp Set which using classic unicorn imagery. I decided against it and it was looking to similar to another project that I have recent created. If you ask me I made the right choice.
For the rainbow itself I used the following colours:
- Poppy Parade
- Mango Melody
- Daffodil Delight
- Granny Apple Green
- Pacific Point
- Gorgeous Grape
- Highland Heather
Most of these colours are located in the Bright’s Collection other than the addition of Highland Heather. Funnily myself and Sean spent some time arguing over this Mango Melody could be taken for the orange. I personally think it didn’t but looking at the card as it is now; he was right. No one tell him!
You guys need to keep sharing your amazing creations. I know that while people aren’t joining in they are still following the hashtag. This is just a little something to keep us all going!

Thanks for naming the colors you used for the rainbow. I’m colorblind and have been struggling with which colors to use. I like your choice of the flowers on this card. – (Broomfield, Colorado, USA)
