Hey everyone! So this week as been a busy one for me however I’m really excited to be hopping with The Gentleman Crafters today. Us guys, once a month gets together to ‘Share What We Love’ this could be our individual favourite set or a technique. Just something that we are loving at this time. For me, I wanted to highlight a stamp set that I have not stopped using – The Mountain Air Stamp Set.
Now I created these cards a while ago and at the time of creating them I adored them. This being said, as time has gone on they have lost a little lustre to me. On reflection there is a few things that I would change, swap in and possible out. But this is how we grow as designers. One aspect that I do love is the crazy graphic moon stamp, isn’t it gorgeous?
I choose to use Basic Gray card stock with these tattoo style you have seen me use before as a change. The reason for this is because I wanted to add depth to the image by including white pencil. This didn’t go to plan and I had to reach for a White Gel Pen which Stampin’ Up! no longer sells. But it really helped to get the look I wanted. I used the gel pen to add the dots on the solid black area. If I was to create these again I skip this out.
The sentiments used for these projects are from the Well Said Stamp Set. This is honestly the most versatile sentiment I own, it covers everything. I love how there is the sentiments in this set that corresponds well with the Mountain Air Stamp Set.

How did you get the mountains imposed on the geometrical shapes? Were the mountains and/or the circle/triangle fussy cut?
Martin Stone says
The image was stamped directly onto the card base with the shapes drawn around and filled in the the journaling pens.

I was wowed by this the first time I saw it. I pinned it knowing one day I’d get back and CASE it. Tonight was that night and I’m seriously loving the result. Thanks for the push to try something completely different than my normal style.
