Today we have an interruption to the schedule that I had planned. The reason is the Instagram account Stampin’ Through The Catalogue. These girls are amazing and I love showing my support to them whenever I get the opportunity. Today they are featuring projects created using the Bloom & Grow Stamp Set, you can view their Instagram account here or their Facebook here. Make sure you give them a follow.
I love the Bloom & Grow Stamp Set for so many reasons and surprised it has taken so long to start using it again. There are just so many floral images which I know is always a favourite in this industry. While there are a few of the larger images I love taking the smaller stamps and using them. Normally these are easily overlooked but really they are gem. Here is used them to create my own patterned paper to sit the main focal point.
This being said I did use one of the larger stamp to get behind the sentiment. Now is anyone else a fiddler? I honestly rearranged these on this card four or five times before finally settling. The image is stamped onto Vellum Card Stock in Versamark before setting in White Embossing Powder. My top tip here is not to heat one spot for too long. It really melts quickly.
Who spotted the amazing ribbon on this project? It’s actually Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon. All I did was take my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend to colour in the ribbon. It couldn’t be simpler. To finish this area I attached a Bird Ballard Trinket with some Linen Thread. It’s a simple element that just adds a little something extra.

Lovely card Martin, but missing your video’s, where have they gone? xx
Martin Stone says
Thank you Annette. Sadly videos have taken a back seat since November when my Nan fell ill. Since then I’ve been trying to help my Mother look after her while still working full time. I felt scarifying the videos to still upload Projects was a better shout for now. It’s not forever and they will be back as soon as things calm down here 💕
