Hello and welcome to the March 2020 Artisan Design Team Blog Hop. I am really excited for today’s blog hop as the team shares the Best Dressed Suite alongside a FREE Sale-A-Bration item. These items are available for you to choose from with a qualifying order of £45|60€. If you would like to check out that Sale-A-Bration Catalogue a digital copy is available here.

Over on Instagram I have started sharing ‘mood boards’ to projects created. These collection of images normally consist of graphic images, advertisement or possible even painting. For the Dressed to Impress I focused around the perfume adverts and in the end settled on the idea of the spray of flowers around the perfume bottle. This was so easy to do with the beautiful Best Dressed Designer Series Paper which has so many different floral patterns. Taking my Paper Snip it took minutes to cut a selection of the flowers and then it was only a matter of arranging them.

For the card base I wanted to incorporate a colour not feature in the Suite but would also work for the Well Dressed Stamp Set. Soft Sea Foam come to the rescue! It just works so well with all the other colours found in the flowers. I won’t lie I was a little hesitant before attempting to colour the glass perfume bottle because I was clueless. To be honest in the end I just wigged it and was lucky enough that it turned out okay. Our Stampin’ Blends are brilliant and make colouring so easy.

If you ask me I had a fun task this time around. I basically had a stamp set him and one for her. This being said I wanted to create two projects that reflect this his and her aspect. It didn’t turn out the way I planned however there are similarities between the two cards.

As previously mentioned Well Dressed Stamp Set could be yours for free with a qualified order of £45|60€. Did you know that by purchasing the Best Dressed Suite you could get the Well Dressed Stamp Set? It’s almost as if we had planned it!

dear Martin, you really nailed it – love this green on your projects!
Love these two cards, Martin! There is a real ‘his’ and ‘hers’ going on with these two sets and your projects show that clearly. The choice of Soft Sea Foam was perfect. I especially love the ties on the Well Dressed card and the sponged and stamped background you’ve given them.
Very cute!
Stunning his and her card. Very stylish
He and She… Love your cards! Thanks for the inspiration.
Lovely to see his and hers cards, beautiful cards.
