Welcome all! Today’s something a little different for my followers but for those of you who are new here welcome and thank you for dropping by. I’d also like to start by saying thank you to Sara also who invited me to join in this blog hop.
So where to start right? This blog hop actually incorporated something that I was looking to do myself anyway so I’m pretty lucky. I wanted to share with you all how to step up a simple card up to something a little more. This is something I do a lot and by creating the projects for this card it kick started my own creative juices going.
I totally forgot to mention the theme this month, terrible aren’t I? Just in case you were interested it’s Holiday Catalogue Favourites. It’s more of a topic but I really enjoyed it, it means freedom to choose what I love and highlight it to you. There is a suite coming called Wrapped In Plaid, while I could have used all of the amazing items I wanted to hold something back for you to be excited about.
Within the suite there is this amazing Stamp & Punch duo, the punch itself is a adorable little tree which coordinates perfectly with the tree stamps with the set Perfectly Plaid. These are the two items I wanted to showcase most. All three cards seen below are originated the simplest design gradually adding more and more as we go along.
You’ll seen in the video that I focus primarily on the more detailed card which has more going on. After all is this not the card you want to see be made?
