It’s bank holiday weekend here in the UK and I’ve got a few crafty things planned to be getting on with! One of which is try and get 10 videos recorded, busy busy but as everyone at work says. I enjoy it. They are right you know I love sharing my creations with you all and getting the feedback, allowing me to grow as a crafter alongside you.
I didn’t know that this was a think I’m not going to lie but hey, I’m gong with it. I bet you’re like what are you going on about? Well I’m sure you’ve all seen the Limited Edition Paper Pumpkin – Hugs by Shelli, this is an all inclusive kit (minus a clear block). You receive enough supplies to make 14 cards in 4 different designs; however we are just going to make multiples of the designs are we? We are creative individuals so we are going to make our own designs.
On Thursday I head a Facebook Live where we created 3 ‘alternatives’ using the kit, so that everyone can watch it and catch up I e uploaded the video to YouTube, click here to view.
I wouldn’t call today’s card an alternative but it’s heavily showcasing the stamp set that is received with the Paper Pumpkin. Shelli Gardener is the Co founder of Stampin’ Up so clearly she has great taste and this kit screams that. I’d say her style is vintage, shabby chic etc with lots of subtle tones, I wanted to mix it up a little as let’s face it, the feather stamp just rings tribal to me or even a little tattoo like? Could just be me but that’s what gave me the inspiration for today’s card and keeping it super simple.
Now I’ve got such a busy week this week and will actually end up posting three times! It’s scary as it’s been a while however I’m excited for the projects that I’m bringing. You will see more alternatives from the Hugs by Shelli Paper Pumpkin as well as some projects I’ve created with brand new items! It’s a super exciting time ahead!
