While I’m busy trying to recovery from a very busy weekend I thought it would be best to actually update you all. As a Demonstrator you get invited to attend exclusive events that are run by Stampin’ Up, this weekend one was held in Telford. So bright and early Saturday morning I jumped in the car and made my way up there for an amazing day of sneak peaks and freebies from the new catalogue. Fun right? That’s honestly not the best bit, being a demonstrator or a customer of Stampin Up you are a part of a community. Having people coming up and chatting, sometimes a little happy cry but mostly laughing, it gives you a warm fussy feeling inside.
I think the best quote from someone receiving the swap was ‘flipping hell Martin, you’re mad’. On Friday Night at around 11 o’clock when I was still finishing them I probably agreed with them. When this card might seem a little complex to recreate on a mass scale, I did manage to create a little template. Now please don’t all laugh at once! It was created in a rush so I can just get on with it… To create the temple I simply scanned a copy of the card and when with a window sheet (attempted) to draw around the circles’. This made it easily for me to glue the circles down.
Of course you don’t want to read about how it’s done when you can watch a video of me creating a swap. Check out the video below:
I feel like I need to hibernate for a lifetime but ‘ain’t nobody got time for that’. It’s bank holiday weekend here so me and Sean have said we’ll spend some time together but also fit in a little time fore crafting. We’ll be offer to see Kenilworth Caste which I’m sure you’ll see lots of photos of on social media. Make sure you stay tuned to that.
Last note of the day though, don’t forgot that you can come to an event by signing up to be a demonstrator. I have plenty of information at my finger tips ready should you need it. All you need to do is ask.
