Who’s ready for Easter Bank Holiday? I know I have a lot to do socially as well as for Stampin’ Up. I have created anything since this card was created so I’m excited to get back into my room crafting up some new ideas. Do you know I get some crafty mojo going… New items! Claim down I’m not starting with the new catalogue items yet, soon definitely just not right now. Did you know that the Retirement List has been released? You should do (it’s at the top of this page).
The list is comprised of items that will not be carrying over into the 2019 – 2020 Annual Catalogue. Do not fear there’s time to buy that one stamp set or bundle you’ve been waiting for! If you click the image above you’ll be taken to a page in with you can purchase the item you require. I’ll also be showcasing the items over on social media so you don’t miss a thing!
Today’s card is (again) showcasing the Designer Series Paper (DSP) that’s will be retiring, it’s the Tea Room DSP. Now I love this paper. It’s gorgeous. So many beautiful colours that you can mix and catch because one thing Stampin’ Up does so well is coordinate everything. The main focal point of this card is there contrast of colours. Right you don’t need to be a Fine Art graduates to understand that contrasting colours work super well together in small amounts. The Crushed Curry just POPs against the Basic Gray is just amazing.
I was tempted to just leave the DSP as the centre focal point to the card and while it’s still look amazing you know I can’t help but put a butterfly on it. I’m not even sorry for it especially when they are as pretty as these. Along with the butterflies there was a little struggle on what sentiment to put with the card. As soon as I spotted the Follow Your Dreams I was sold. Isn’t it just precious? Yet another gem you need to get your hands on before it’s too late!
As I said earlier I’m busy creating this weekend and I want to try and get seven projects created, photos taken and videos recorded. It’s a heavy task but I know that in a week or two I’m going to be super busy driving to Wales for mine and Sean’s anniversary. You see he loves castles and I hate driving but I thought I’d do it for him, just this once though. So it’s basically a mini road trip into Wale to see lots of castles. I’m sure it’ll be okay!
All the supplies used in today’s card are available by contacting me direct or following the links below:
