A little behind the scenes from yesterday’s @alexs A little behind the scenes from yesterday’s @alexsyberiadesigns release!

I shared the finished card yesterday, but I couldn’t resist showing you some of the colouring that went into bringing this beautiful Magical Wisteria image to life.

Those pink blooms took a little patience, but watching all that white space slowly disappear is ridiculously satisfying.

If you missed yesterday’s post, make sure you have a peek — there’s lots more inspiration from the new release over on my blog too!

Are you a love the colouring or just get me to the finished card kind of crafter?

Ever wondered how to get rid of those harsh white Ever wondered how to get rid of those harsh white edges on your die cuts?

Someone asked how I colour my stamped images on darker cardstock, so I thought this little technique deserved another share!

It’s such a simple trick, but it makes a HUGE difference to the finished result.

Do you colour the edges of your die cuts, or is this something new you’re going to try?

I’m joining the @alexsyberiadesigns Cozy Tea Time I’m joining the @alexsyberiadesigns Cozy Tea Time Release Blog Hop today with this floral beauty!
I used the Magical Wisteria Bundle to create this layered design, stamping the florals across the card base and raised mat before adding an extra die-cut wisteria piece over the top.
I love how much depth this one has, especially with a little selective fussy cutting through the foliage to help some of those leaves lift away from the card.
The soft pink flowers, fresh greens and crisp white background keep everything feeling light and elegant, while the black splatter and iridescent sequins add just enough contrast.
The full Cozy Tea Time Release is available now from Alex Syberia Designs, and there’s also a giveaway running as part of today’s hop.
Head over to my blog for the full card details, blog hop information and giveaway details.

The cutest little Christmas gift box from just ONE The cutest little Christmas gift box from just ONE piece of cardstock!

This little triangular box is ridiculously easy to make and perfect for small Christmas gifts, treats or table favours.

To make your own:
Start with a piece of cardstock measuring 4” × 9” and score at 4½”.

Find the centre of each 4” edge at 2”, then score diagonally from that centre point to both ends of the 4½” score line. Repeat at the opposite end.

Fold along all your score lines, bring the sides together and suddenly that flat piece of cardstock becomes this little triangular box!

I finished mine with ribbon, twine and a festive sentiment. No complicated template needed.

Save this Reel so you can make one later!

I had to go bold with this one! I’ve used the gor I had to go bold with this one!

I’ve used the gorgeous Cozy Morning Bundle from @altenewllc to create this statement floral card, pairing those soft pink blooms with a deep navy background so every little detail really pops.

I love building floral arrangements like this — lots of overlapping, plenty of dimension and just enough sparkle to finish everything off. The layered “friend” sentiment and little twine bow add that extra bit of texture without stealing the spotlight from the flowers.

Would you go for pink florals too, or would you switch up the colour palette?

You can find the full card details over on my blog.
