Back with some Crumb Cake! I’m honestly surprised I haven’t used this colour more. I took a trip back down memory lane earlier this morning to see what cards I could remark using newer Stampin’ Up products. The first thing I noticed, lots of Crumb Cake, don’t get me wrong I love it and I’m sure you do too but…

Shall we start how we mean to go on? I’m back and today’s post is going to be the first card I’ve made since 2012. I know it’s scary. I thought I best start small and work my way up to a larger more complex card. For today’s card I want to use the Botanical Bliss Stamp Set, the following…

Hey crafty friends! 🎉 I’m so excited to be part o Hey crafty friends! 🎉

I’m so excited to be part of Altenew’s 12th Anniversary Instagram Hop today — celebrating 12 years of beautiful designs, creativity, and inspiration! 🙌

For my card, I’ve used the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Feathered Lilies, and I couldn’t resist leaning into those rich, warm tones. There’s something about this colour combo that feels so bold and elegant at the same time — a little different from my usual style, but I love how it turned out ✨

I’ve paired the florals with a deep background to really make those lilies pop, finished with a touch of splatter and dimension for added interest. Clean, striking, and all about letting the details shine 👀

Bold florals + deep navy… I mean 😍🌸 I’ve used the Bold florals + deep navy… I mean 😍🌸

I’ve used the Tulips and Daffodils Press Plate for this one and honestly the detail is just beautiful. It’s perfect for colouring with markers and creating a really full, flowing floral design 🌼✨

I wanted those yellows and pinks to really pop, so pairing them with a darker background just makes everything stand out so much more!

Are you team bold backgrounds or clean and simple? 👇

Soft pink, layered details and fluttery butterflie Soft pink, layered details and fluttery butterflies… say less 💗

This one came together with a really simple idea—keep the background soft and let the dimension do the work. The white embossed florals give just enough texture, while that arched panel pulls everything together beautifully.

And those butterflies… honestly they’re the star of the show 🦋 A little bit of ink blending, a bit of shaping, and suddenly the whole card feels alive.

I love how the foliage frames the sentiment too—it’s one of those layouts you can come back to again and again and just switch up the colours or theme 🙌

If you’re making something for Mum (or just love a soft, feminine design), this one’s a good one to try!

Spring + texture + cute bunnies… yes please 🐰🌸 Th Spring + texture + cute bunnies… yes please 🐰🌸

This card is all about that gorgeous embossed background using the Little Bunnies Embossing Folder from @simonsaysstamp. It adds the softest detail without taking over the design—perfect for layering up all those colourful florals (which I’ve die cut using the Garden Wreath Add-Ons 🌼).

And can we just take a moment for those little bunnies… I mean 🥹

If you’ve been eyeing up embossing folders, now’s the time 👀

Would you keep this soft and pastel… or go bold with your colours?

Quick tip that might just change how you use your Quick tip that might just change how you use your layering stencils 👀

Try die cutting first, then ink blending.

It makes lining up your stencils so much easier and gives you a cleaner, more accurate result—especially with detailed florals like these.

You can blend first and die cut after… but honestly? This way just works better (for me anyway 😂).

Give it a go and let me know which way you prefer!

Using the Feathered Lilies Craft Your Life Kit from @altenewllc 🤍

Save this for later—you’ll thank yourself next time you’re lining up those layers 🙌
