Daily Challenge

For this prompt, think of the cosy charm of fresh wreaths, the sculptural beauty of festive foliage, and the way winter greens instantly make a design feel warm, inviting, and full of seasonal spirit. A few ideas to guide your creative spark:
- Add splatter, shimmer, or sequins to echo that frosty, woodland magic.
- Build layers of leaves for soft dimension and movement.
- Use ombré or gradient colouring to bring botanical elements to life.
- Mix classic Christmas sentiments with unexpected colour palettes for a modern twist.
Today’s Project

For my card, I reached for the Cover Plate: Lush Foliage Die from Papertrey Ink — and oh my days, this die does all the heavy lifting. I paired deep green shaded leaves with a soft blush background to keep things fresh, airy, and slightly whimsical.
The bold “Merry Christmas” sentiment creates instant impact, while the smaller “From our family to yours” banner adds that personal festive touch. A little twine, a sprinkle of sequins, and snowy white paint splatter complete the look with just the right amount of winter sparkle.
It’s clean, botanical, and beautifully seasonal — the perfect fit for Festive Flora!
