Why you’ll love the Simon Says Stamp Vintage Blooms Set

The Vintage Blooms set brings a refined, vintage-inspired elegance to any project. The stamp features gorgeously detailed florals and foliage, while the coordinating dies cut crisp, precise shapes for seamless layering. Whether you’re creating a soft monochrome look like today’s project or going bold with colour, this set adapts beautifully.
Plus, the etched details in the stamps work perfectly for both simple inking or advanced techniques like heat embossing and watercolouring.
Floral stamps are a staple in card making, but what sets Vintage Blooms apart is its versatility. It’s ideal for:
- Elegant thank you and sympathy cards
- Layered mixed media backgrounds
- Vintage journals and shabby chic mini albums
- Techniques like tone-on-tone stamping, emboss resist, and fussy cutting
And because Simon Says Stamp products are top quality, they hold up beautifully with repeated use.
Card Inspiration: ‘Thank You for Your Kindness’

This card leans into a cool-toned palette of powdery blues and soft whites, creating a calm and heartfelt thank-you card. The layout is both structured and organic, allowing the florals to shine.
Step-by-step Instructions:
- Background Panel – I started with a soft blue cardstock base and used the floral images to white heat emboss directly onto the card base. This subtle detailing adds a sophisticated frame for the focal layer.
- Textured Layer – A white panel was torn at the edges for a soft, vintage feel. I added faint splatter and stamped postal-themed marks in matching blue ink for extra interest.
- Stamped Florals – Using the Vintage Blooms stamp set, I stamped the floral cluster in a powder blue ink and die cut using the coordinating dies. These were layered onto the card using foam tape to create depth.
- Sentiment – The “Thank you for your kindness” sentiment was heat embossed in white onto a strip of blue cardstock and adhered with foam tape for dimension.
- Finishing Touches – To complete the card, I added a scattering of pearls and sequins for sparkle and elegance.
