Hello crafty friends!
Today’s post is a bittersweet one as we say goodbye to Crafty Meraki – a beloved brand in our crafting community. While we’re sad to see them close, they’re going out with an incredible farewell sale that gives you the perfect opportunity to stock up on their beautiful products while you still can.
To mark the occasion, I’m showcasing the stunning Floral Fantasy Press-Tacular Plate, used to create an elegant card that truly highlights what made this brand so special.
Why you’ll love the Floral Fantasy Press-Tacular Plate

The Floral Fantasy Press-Tacular Plate is the perfect blend of intricate design and effortless style. With beautifully etched petals and bold outlines, it gives your projects a luxurious, letterpress look in minutes. Whether you’re creating a soft floral background or layering it beneath your sentiment, this plate delivers standout results every time.
Plus, it works seamlessly with the BetterPress system or your favourite press platforms – making it both versatile and easy to use.
With Crafty Meraki closing down, this is your last chance to grab the Floral Fantasy Press-Tacular Plate – and it’s available at 60% off with the code FAREWELL60. If you’ve admired their florals or just want to add a timeless design to your stash, now is the moment to act.
Card Inspiration: Hello Friend

I wanted to let the floral design shine, so I paired it with a soft sage card base and layered die-cut blooms for depth. Here’s how I brought the card together:
- Press your panel using the Floral Fantasy Press-Tacular Plate on white cardstock with black BetterPress ink.
- Colour the florals with soft pinks and greens – I used alcohol markers for a blendable, smooth finish.
- Fussy cut around the edge of the floral design to give a detailed border.
- Mount the floral piece onto a muted green A2 card base using foam adhesive for dimension.
- Add a stitched rectangle panel over the centre with a twine wrap and subtle ink splatters for texture.
- Die cut the sentiment “Hello” from kraft cardstock and adhere centrally.
- Stamp and trim a small “Friend” label in blush pink to layer with the sentiment.
- Finish with sequins and a twine bow for sparkle and softness.
This layout lets the floral imagery steal the spotlight while keeping the sentiment bold and grounding.
