Card Inspiration: Blooming Birthday Wishes
For this design, I combined soft pastels with a layered die-cut background to create an airy, elegant look. Here’s how I brought this card to life:
- Stamped & Die Cut the Florals – Using the Blooming Beauties Stamp Set, I stamped the flowers in shades of pink and purple, with vibrant green leaves for contrast. Then, I used the Blooming Beauties Die Set to cut out the floral elements.
- Layered Over a Die-Cut Background – I used the Cover Plate: Cross Stitched Die to create a textured backdrop and adhered it to a pale green card base.
- Added the Sentiment – I die-cut the “Birthday” from This is Big Sentiments: Birthday in dark brown and paired it with a heat-embossed “Wishes” banner, cut using the This is Big Sentiments: Birthday Die Set.
- Finishing Touches – A little twine, some sparkling sequins, and a few splashes of white ink brought everything together beautifully.
