Happy Saturday! I am back today sharing a project I created for the Fancy Friday Design Team. This is a Facebook & Instagram design team so make sure you give them a search to find us all. I created this card for the birthday challenge and I choose the Dainty Delight Stamp Set [161078] as you know I love a flower image.
If you aren’t already a customer of mine and would like to be, you can request a catalogue here.
Dainty Delight Stamp Set
Little flowers equal a big message when you use this Dainty Delight Stamp Set. Surely, they are dainty, but they’ll send a powerful message of hope, thanks, celebration, and more on all your paper crafting projects. Use these beautiful florals on your handmade cards and watch the smiles bloom! The line-art images can be custom coloured using your favourite Stampin’ Up! colouring technique. Also available in French and German.
Todays Project
Now I might have studied Fine Art at University however I am not artist. I have proactively avoided the no line watercolour technique as it just wasn’t something I thought I would be good at. Nevertheless, I had some time so I spent it on this card. I stamped the images in Sahara Sand Ink [147117] onto Fluid 100 Watercolour [149612]. The loss of Sahara Sand as one of our colours is deeply saddening however, I plan on keeping it in my collection.
When we first shared this project on the Fancy Friday socials everyone was asking for a video. Now this card took a few hours to paint so realistically a full tutorial was never going to happen. This being said I did record a little tutorial one how I painted a stamped image from the set. It’s a rather long video but I hope you enjoy it.

Martin, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your tips to us amateurs. You have such a talent with colors. And if I lived in UK I would be ordering from you. Lately I have found it so difficult to get into the creative mood. I think your work is stunning and am hopeful for your mental well being you have someone to help you through the rough times. P.S. My gol for Lent was to make 40 cards. I think I got 1 done. You are loved and admired.
