Happy Friday! i hope you are all well this week. I’m busy getting ready to start the 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge on the 1st November. I’m excited to be sharing it with you. Before that I wanted to share one of the latest Artisan projects using the Spruced Up Bundle [159701].

The stamp set and dies work together to create detailed, seasonal die-cut pieces. All you do is stamp, then die cut the image, and it’s ready to add to your card or gift tag—it’s that quick and easy get your Christmas craft on!
Todays Project
These projects were so fun to create. There is so much texture and colour to them. As soon as I saw the Spruced Up Bundle [159701] I knew it could handle a lot of colour. I started with a base of Pool Party Card [124391] which gave a me solid foundation to add bigger and brighter colours. The use of Daffodil Delight for the sentiment is very much a chef’s kiss.
Whenever I have an Artisan project, I cheat a little. I create two projects which are similar but completely different. In the each of the cards I focused on either the tree imagery or the baubles, playing around with the composition. You’ll see that I focus on the rule of three. This meaning that I choose three main elements to create a stronger composition than just one alone.
My favourite element to these cards is the elements in the background. There is so many small little details such as the ink splatter or the embossing. Using Pool Party Card [124391] you might notice that I used the Star Die withing the bundle in the base as well. This was just to add that extra little detail to attempt from making it look so flat.
