Decorated with Happiness Bundle
The Decorated with Happiness Bundle will help you create sleek, modern Christmas cards for all your stylish friends and family. The combination of classic Christmas sentiments with the hand-drawn sketched style of the images makes for a clean Christmas card they’ll want to display on their mantlepiece till next year! Also available in French and German.
Todays Project
The Decorated with Happiness Bundle [159711] has some serious 1970’s vibes which I love. This being said it is equally as contemporary. I wanted to work with this idea for these cards. They started like most of my cards with a little Pinterest search. What I loved about this period of time was all the shapes.
To being these projects into the 21st century I used some of the colours from the Brights Collection. Using lots of different colours can be costly however you can buy a multipack. So when you purchase the Brights A4 Card [146997] you get 2 sheets of each colour in that collection. Perfect for cards like this. Here I used 1cm strips of card to create the fun background.
For this card I wanted to create fun angles with slightly bigger strips of card. By alternating the angles and the sizes of the strips it creates this fun overlap. The bauble shapes where cut from some Silver Foil [156457]. To improve the stability of them, I stacked multiple layers of the shape.
