Happy Sunday! I’m excited to be back today with the Creation Station Design Team. This month we are working under the theme of ‘New to you’. I’ve got with creating a card with a new item from the January – June Mini Catalogue that goes live on January 4th. If you don’t have a catalogue let, request one here. I choose to use the Artfully Layered Bundle [157761] for todays challenge.
ARTFULLY LAYERED BUNDLE
While the Artfully Layered Bundle [157761] isn’t currently available to purchase there is nothing stopping your from adding it to your wish list. This is a Stamp Set/Die bundle where you can save 10% of the total price of both products.
The bundle is also part of the Artfully Composed Suite Collection [157765].
Todays Project
So this was completely unintentional to share two projects with the similar tones and style so close together. You wouldn’t believe this card and the one share here were created nearly two months apart. Nevertheless there are a few key differences. Firstly I want to point out the circles. I took two of the Layering Circle Die [151770] and off set them from each other. What I love more is that they are destressed – Who’d have thought it!
I ink blended onto Very Vanilla Card [106550] some Evening Evergreen Ink [155576] before die cutting. The centre parts of the dies were adhered back into place. This is call Die Cut Inlay technique. I love the way that creates a fuller image that sounds out amongst the rich colours. With this project I adore the colours as you can probably tell from how often I have used it.
