It’s Friday! I need this weekend more than ever; I am so zonked. Nevertheless I am being strict with myself and sticking to sharing with you all as much as I’d love. After all that’s why I do it. This is also the purpose of the Gentlemen Crafters Design Team, sharing projects created with what we are loving at this very time. I’m sharing a project created with the Painted Christmas Suite Collection , its close to selling out so if you want it act now.
Stampin’ Up! Painted Christmas Suite Collection
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas with the Painted Christmas Suite Collection . This elegant suite collection includes all the coordinated products you need to do Christmas crafting like a pro. The traditional colours and elegant style will take you back as you recall cherished Christmas moments. Grab this collection and you’ll have everything you need to send warm wishes and cheer all season long. This suite collection is also available in Dutch, French, and German.
Now this project is one of my favourites, possibly because I am obsessed with Evening Evergreen Card . Like this is quintessentially Christmas with the dark green, deep red and gold tones. While we are talking about colours you might notice that there aren’t any natural tones on this card. Instead of using Basic White or Very Vanilla I used Soft Sea Foam Card . With the contrast on tones you don’t even mind.
The main focus of this card is all the die cuts however there is devil in the detail. Gold can be really overpowering or at least I find it is. I knew I wanted the sentiment to be heat embossed with the gold from the Metallic Embossing Powders onto Cherry Cobbler Card . Its just then how to incorporate it throughout the project. First being the Gilded Gems (my favourite embellishment). I didn’t want it to be over kill so with the Cherry Cobbler & Gold Metallic Ribbon I frayed the end just to get my hands on the gold thread. It’s a super subtle detail but it’s just gorgeous!
