Todays Project
These projects are do fun to make. In the Words of Cheer Stamp Set [156357] you have the large floral spray. I kind of figured that everyone would be focusing on this, I wanted to be different, and I used it as an accent piece. The focus of these cards is on the sentiments within the set and boy are there a few. I don’t know about you but that’s a sign of a good stamp set for me, the dies in the Words of Cheer Bundle [156389] are just a bonus.
When I created the Happy Christmas card above, I have a confession. A few swear words left my mouth. I have never been to frustrate in my entire life. It was all going okay until I dropped all the sentiments and they all got tangled up. Honestly, I could have cried. Nevertheless I used Press & Seal to aid me in the placement and other than dropping it a few times, it did make it easier.
I love colour – you might have guessed by the last few cards that I have shared. The Bright’s Collection has never been my favourite, but it’s really been growing on me. Especially more since the nights are getting longer and the days colder. Clearly, I’m clinging onto summer. When I’m using a lot of colour, I like to incorporate Smokey Slate Card [131291] to act as a neutral.
