Happy September you wonderful lot. I’m still playing catch up with some of the projects I have created before. Today I wanted to share some of the project I created for Stampin’ Up! Todays Project

So I love these projects. When I had created them, I took a moment to step back and went ‘well I never’. What sold me most on these are the colours featured in the Sweet Symmetry Suite Collection [155608]. They are what a would refer to as bold, in your face colours. The Night of Navy really helps all the colours within the Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper [155605].

With the nature of the Suite collection being symmetry I wanted to incorporate this in the design. I cut 3cm squares of the Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper [155605] and created a quilt like effect with them. I felt that this could become a little too heavy within the design, so I incorporated a square double the size to draw the eye.

The flowers images are from the In Symmetry Stamp Set [155140] that is within the collection. I choose some of the brighter colours from the papers to stamp them in. This is always a win with Stampin’ Up! Colours, they all coordinate. I love the coordination of Bumblebee Ink [153116] & Flirty Flamingo Ink [147052].
