Todays Project
As I already said this card was so much fun to make. It was also born out of a happy accident. The background was created with the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks [156328]. I started by embossing some Basic White Card [159228] using the mask. Full instructions are on the video below on what items to used on embossing with these masks. Keeping the mask over the top of the Basic White Card [159228] you can start ink blending over the raised snowflakes.
For all ink blending I turn to the amazing Blending Brushes [153611]. These are my go too tool when I want to make an impact because they are just so easy to use. I used four colours that are within the Bright’s Collection: Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green & Coastal Cabana. All our ink pads are available as a collection where you save 10% on the total price or individually.
Once the background was created, I stamped the sentiment from the Encircled in Warmth Stamp Set [156449]. This was stamped in Versamark Ink [102283] & heat embossed in white. I fussed cut the sentiment out with my trusted Paper Snips [103579]. The contrast between the Black and the colours just pop. Now I went a little crazy, I wanted the Subtle Shimmer Sequins [155407] to appear random on the card. So I basically sprinkled them over and where they landed, I glued them down. Worked a treat.

These are not typical Christmas colors. But I love the tag and the card a lot. It is a pity that the stamp set is only available in English.
