Its Thursday! I am back today to share with you a recent project that I have created using the Sharing Sunshine Stamp Set [155631]. This stamp set was a host gift a couple of months back and I managed to get myself one because its just so cute. Like just look at them cute little faces!
For today’s card I kept the concept really simple, it’s a sun and some rainy clouds. That’s the concepts but what about the execution? My style has developed a lot recently and I love this rustic and rough look. The card size is a standard UK C6 which I used Pool Party Card [124391]. The sun base was created with some Daffodil Delight Card [121680]. I created a template for where I wanted the sun beams to be and before cutting added a little stitching detail. I used the Layering Circle Dies [151770] to die cut the ‘face’ of the sun.
The cloud are from the Give it a Whirl Dies [154336] and I love how these dies work so well with the Sharing Sunshine Stamp Set [155631]. One design in the Annual Catalogue shows the sun as a moon so even the stars would work amazing. I ink blended a little bit of Pool Party Ink [147107] at the bottom of the clouds. What I love most about this card is the accents of the Epoxy Essentials [155567]. There is a rain drop shape in there which just works beautifully.
