Happy Tuesday! Today I wanted to share with you a couple of my all-time favourite Artisan Design Team projects ever. Last month I was given the Color & Contour Bundle [158356] to creative with. I knew that I wanted this as soon as I laid my eyes on it. The pressure hit me a little while creating these projects however in the end I adore them. This bundle is available to purchase in the Annual Catalogue.
Stampin’ Up! Color & Contour Bundle
The Color & Contour Bundle includes the Color & Contour Stamp Set and the Scalloped Contours Dies.
Our craft bundles make coordination easy. Stamp & tool bundles help you quickly cut out stamped images for a single project or create multiples of the same project with ease.
Todays Project
I have no fears in telling you when I struggle to come up with an idea with a stamp set or bundle. This normally happens when there is already a lot of inspiration already out there in similar ways. Of course I want to try to do something a little different. My approach for these projects were through colour and they layouts.
It’s funny how you are influenced from little conversations. The Artisan Design Team were talking about their least used colours and someone mentioned Pumpkin Pie. Next thing I know I’m using it for the flowers on these cards. The images were all heat embossed onto Basic White Card [159228] before colouring the images with a dry Water Painter [151298]. I tend to batch colour, making it easy to die cut all in one go.
I normally find that I like the first project created more than the second. This time was the exception. The card above is going to be referred to as the circle card. I used the Layering Circle Dies [151770] to cut the shape however cut two out of different card. I used the Paper Trimmer [152392] to cut a section off to create this slice effect. Its really simple but so effective.
